WORKSHOP INITIATIVE

Apart from our projects and fund raising initiatives, we also supply our residents with low level labour jobs to help supplement their own income and give them a sense of purpose and self-worth.

Residents are usually able to do minor assembling, packaging, etc. They usually love repetitive type of work and if a process can be done using a  line production, where each resident is responsible for his/her part of the project, we often find the project to be more manageable for the residents.

All work is done under the supervision and quality control of the instructor in each group.  It is preferable that the company/factory deliver all components of the project to Die Oord PV3, and after completion, collect it again.

If you or your business would like to enquire about the type of tasks that our residents can perform, please send us an email.
